Edgar Gondela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Gustaw Nowak made a huge save. In the 4th minute, Zbyszek Le Bonniec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience was convinced that Zbyszek Le Bonniec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borys Wolnik was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 9 minutes into the match, PTC Pabianice's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Le Bonniec came free, but Borys Wolnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PTC Pabianice's Borys Wolnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristan Lannister in the 13th minute of play. Borys Wolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Domamir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Tristan Lannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Wolnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Borys Wolnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Domamir in the 23rd minute of the match. Walery Bienienda was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Walery Bienienda got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Plaski came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zbyszek Le Bonniec made a kick off. After having played for 50 minutes, Tobiasz Rosiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PTC Pabianice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobiasz Rosiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, PTC Pabianice's Ziemowit Kiewra got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, PTC Pabianice's goalkeeper Borys Wolnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec. The corner led Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Ciccio Kowalczyk to fire away a dangerous shot which Borys Wolnik despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Gondela in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Nowak saved Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting behind. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind PTC Pabianice's goalkeeper Borys Wolnik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by PTC Pabianice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciccio Kowalczyk was slow to take the kick. During this time Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PTC Pabianice's goalie and right to José Pedro Dracena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PTC Pabianice's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. PTC Pabianice made a substitution. Marek Jarosz replaced Dariusz Kaszubik. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy made a substitution. Rafal Ludwiczak replaced Wawrzyniec Domamir. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy made a substitution. Mieszko Marosz replaced José Pedro Dracena. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Felix Blas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbyszek Le Bonniec got free with Borys Wolnik in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zbyszek Le Bonniec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Borys Wolnik made a huge save. If Mieszko Marosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Borys Wolnik made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Rafal Ludwiczak sent off a good shot on target. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
