In the 3rd minute Teofil Rzegotka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Konieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Śląsk Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Adolf Hitman came free, but Antoni Walaszkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antoni Walaszkiewicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolf Hitman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 11th minute, Adolf Hitman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miastostumostuf™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 17 minutes Śląsk Katowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anibal Misael who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Miastostumostuf™'s corner Anibal Misael fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antoni Walaszkiewicz quite easily take care of the ball. After 19 minutes of play, Miastostumostuf™'s Adolf Hitman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antoni Walaszkiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Adolf Hitman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antoni Walaszkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Antoni Walaszkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Hitman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antoni Walaszkiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Hitman in the 30th minute of play. Wit Matuch hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. If Adolf Hitman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Walaszkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miastostumostuf™. In the 46th minute, Herbert Szkarpiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adolf Hitman to strike the kick off in the second half. Fryderyk Kiesa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute.
