The Szczakowianka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Courtois should have stopped the shot. Christian Abbiati made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 21st minute. A collision led to KANONIERZY getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Benedykt Perkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Christian Abbiati made a huge save. After the first half KANONIERZY were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Francisco dos Santos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KANONIERZY walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
