Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Skaradowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Iwo Domarecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute Octavian Nicolescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Xoxe came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartan FC Mogilany's Octavian Nicolescu. But to his dismay, Octavian Nicolescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Kajetan Fronczak in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Pogoń Szczecin's Conrado Donzel. Norbert Major blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iwo Domarecki having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norbert Major stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wojciech Skaradowski in the 52nd minute of play. When Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spartan FC Mogilany's goalie prevented a goal. Norbert Major took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwo Domarecki. Iwo Domarecki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Anselmo Doris kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Leroy Parkinson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastião Xoxe. Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match Spartan FC Mogilany got a corner. Pogoń Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leroy Parkinson ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 66th minute Norbert Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Spartan FC Mogilany got a freekick which was hit by Sever Ulici. After a rather tough play, Spartan FC Mogilany's Sever Ulici got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 71st minute Diogo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iwo Domarecki made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Norbert Major sent off a good shot on target. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Skaradowski in the 77th minute of play. Spartan FC Mogilany made a substitution. Konstanty Smolarek replaced Diogo Martins. Iwo Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darko Pančev in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes Spartan FC Mogilany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stefanos Stefanopoulos who took care of the corner kick. Lucjan Adamowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Darko Pančev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwo Domarecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Nicolescu in the 88th minute of the match. The supporters of Pogoń Szczecin booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maksymilian Grondzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Nicolescu in the 95th minute of play forced Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
