Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alfonso Bikendi took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when La Naranja Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernand Redondo hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Gonzalo Morales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind RB Chubut's goalkeeper Robert Vassenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to RB Chubut getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Justino Heli hit a great ball. Osvaldo Oidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Robert Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Morales in the 16th minute of play. Robert Vassenius came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by La Naranja Mecánica's Gonzalo Morales. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Morales quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Justino Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Smitt having to interfere. When RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Naranja Mecánica's goalie prevented a goal. Otto Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Bikendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

RB Chubut's Lázaro Quico was substituted for Adrian Cristos. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Morales made a kick off. Fernand Redondo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Redondo to maneuver through the defense. RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé was substituted for Alfonso Bikendi. In the 61st match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Redondo to maneuver through the defense. When Luisito Txordon fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RB Chubut's protests and gave Luisito Txordon a yellow card for diving instead. Otto Smitt stood somewhat misplaced when Andrézinho Pelé came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 73 minute. La Naranja Mecánica's Otto Smitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, RB Chubut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernand Redondo to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes La Naranja Mecánica got a freekick which was hit by D.J. Abel. RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 98th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The RB Chubut supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RB Chubut would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
