Zé Bani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feliberto Ipar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when LTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Bani didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zé Bani came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the LTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Bani couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Zé Bani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Bani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Efraim to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Alf Möller got a free kick in the 71st minute. LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Perico in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Zé Bani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Ipar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Bani in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliberto Ipar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Pablo-Enrique Cuba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Rios. After 89 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Tauro. In the 95th match minute, Lobos de Carelia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Rios to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Ipar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lee Pearson. Lobos de Carelia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
