Despidida AFC's Justino Elequemedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Emanuel Lucila was slow to take the kick. During this time Despidida AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Despidida AFC's Feliksas Fenichev getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Toro Martínez from a close distance when the talented Camilo Salvidor managed to make a qualified save. Menchu FC's players were relieved. Uriel Gorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fernando Selatse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 47th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Arturo Arano had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Despidida AFC's Vladimir de Sena was substituted for Arturo Arano. In the 49th minute, Armando Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Gabriele Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toro Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Despidida AFC's zone, Uriel Gorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Selatse came out of the goal and Uriel Gorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco was substituted for Ancho Branca. Gaston Firmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Fernando Selatse made a huge save. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Firmo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 78thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Despidida AFC's keeper Fernando Selatse was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdoulay Doucouré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 84th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Camilo Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 86th minute of play. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Firmo in the 88th minute of play. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Velasco in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Salvidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cain Velasquez. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
