In the 16th minute Giovanni Rana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Leonard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Fred Nilsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Juan Carlos Alvarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jake Leonard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yin Yang in the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Giovanni Rana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Rana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Leonard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Marlin FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Giovanni Rana hit a great ball. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Marlin FC from getting a goal against them. WINNING ELEVEN were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Marlin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andro Reiman took the corner. The corner led WINNING ELEVEN's Andro Reiman to fire away a dangerous shot which Juan Carlos Alvarez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fred Nilsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Carlos Alvarez was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Cilio in the 33rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Juan Carlos Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Nilsson in the 54th minute of the match. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Cilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Fred Nilsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Carlos Alvarez. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Nilsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. WINNING ELEVEN's Ciriaco Urdaspal was substituted for Leonel Cordaro. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Silverio Gipuzkoa replaced Vilhelm Gustafsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 76th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. WINNING ELEVEN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Giovanni Rana scored to the left of an out of position Jake Leonard, making the score, 3-2. Giovanni Rana got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fernando Ciano. 90 minutes into the match, Dionisio Panpili had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Leonard. WINNING ELEVEN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Panpili was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Marlin FC's Dionisio Panpili slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jake Leonard. That made the score 3-4 after 93 minutes of play.
