Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amílton Loyola in the 17 minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Dale Dolar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hansjörg Wastl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 22 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patricio Ugutz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patricio Ugutz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges. But to his dismay, Henrique Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. That made the score 2-2 in the 29 minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's attentive Amílton Loyola managed to snatch the ball when Paolo Argi made a throw-in in the 33rd minute of the game. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 37 minutes, Dale Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dale Dolar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hansjörg Wastl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Dolar went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Dale Dolar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hansjörg Wastl was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Henrique Borges made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansjörg Wastl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hansjörg Wastl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Carrascal's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Carvalho in the 79th minute of play. When Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
