Domingos Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Prata in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute Chicão Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. New York RB's Domingos Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Prata in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Prata in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingos Hermon saved New York RB from getting behind. In the 14th minute, Caetano Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Domingos Hermon. New York RB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Domingos Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Prata in the 17th minute of the match. New York RB's Domingos Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Furtado in the 20th minute of play. Domingos Hermon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chicão Valadares's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Domingos Hermon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Furtado went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. New York RB's Domingos Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Romero in the 27th minute of play. Justino Pero hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inácio Romero in the 31st minute of play forced New York RB's goalkeeper Domingos Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Peter Čech made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, New York RB's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Romero came free, but Domingos Hermon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Cambotinha EC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Elias Belarmo made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Medina hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Caetano Furtado took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Hermon. Domingos Hermon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Domingos Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Valadares in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Elias Belarmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Furtado's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Domingos Hermon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute Chicão Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Caetano Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Domingos Hermon. That made the score 0-6 in the 72 minute of play. With a little luck, New York RB's Domingos Hermon got control of the ball when Inácio Romero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78th match minute, New York RB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Alonso to maneuver through the defense. If Norino Anabalon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Chicão Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Hermon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Inácio Romero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambotinha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Davi Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cambotinha EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
