The Capivara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Doriva Tavares took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dražen Ladić. Fisica UNT's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Mota in the 31st minute of play. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinícius Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 39th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dražen Ladić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vinícius Junior's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. When Vinícius Junior came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Capivara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinícius Junior couldn't finish the play.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Junior got free with Dražen Ladić in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Capivara FC's Vinícius Junior got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT made a substitution. Péter Pálffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Ferreyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a corner. Capivara FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martín Ferreyra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Péter Pálffy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conor Gallagher in the 83rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Conor Gallagher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Péter Pálffy. Capivara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conor Gallagher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 90 minutes into the match, Doriva Tavares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dražen Ladić, 3-4. If Maximo Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Capivara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
