The crowd rose to their feet as Arnaldo Urtzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexander Van Houdtvinck. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. Arnaldo Urtzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexander Van Houdtvinck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Alexander Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Pan FC's Eriberto Bakar was substituted for Primitivo Laurendi. Arturo Jon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eligijus Abakevičius got free with Sebastian Quirce in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Quirce made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Eligijus Abakevičius sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Godofredo Tiadoro took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sebastian Quirce to make any attempt to save it. When Quebracho FC's Godofredo Tiadoro in the 99th minute got a chance for a shot 99th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
