Romulo Chesus hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Antônio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Noqueces FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antônio Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miftah Astrajingga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Villegas having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Romulo Chesus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavaliers FC and the Noqueces FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romulo Chesus hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antônio Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Eugenio Chayo was slow to take the kick. During this time Cavaliers FC's players had a chance to rest. Noqueces FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
