Leonides Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Romero in the 9th minute of play forced Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Telesforo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Acevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Telesforo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Acevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Gavino Egoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 龚扬强 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience was convinced that Narciso Bertassi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 龚扬强 was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's Narciso Bertassi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 龚扬强 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Zuberbühler FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Carmelo Corderun hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Pablo Acevedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zuberbühler FC and the Cable a Tierra players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Fermin Montiel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 龚扬强 skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narciso Bertassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Acevedo got free with Leonides Telesforo in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Gipuzkoa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Leonides Telesforo 50 minutes into the match. Leonides Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Leonides Telesforo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Romero in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Gipuzkoa came free, but Leonides Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚扬强 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cable a Tierra's Leonides Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Corderun in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Hernan Estevon got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Pedro Donio replaced Paulo Garin. In the 70th minute of the match Fermin Montiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 龚扬强 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 72nd minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper 龚扬强 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Claudio Echeverri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Echeverri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 龚扬强 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zuberbühler FC made a substitution. Derk Borst replaced Carmelo Corderun. 龚扬强 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 83rd minute of the match. 龚扬强 came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri. But to his dismay, Claudio Echeverri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Paulão Laguna got a free kick in the 85th minute. Feliciano Harri hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 93 minutes of play, Zuberbühler FC's Feliciano Harri made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Telesforo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Zuberbühler FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
