The supporters of Karaboudjan booed when Noqueces FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Baptista was a little too slow when Antônio Santos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 3-0. Miftah Astrajingga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karaboudjan's Miguel Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Santos in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match, Miftah Astrajingga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miguel Baptista was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Karaboudjan's zone, Miftah Astrajingga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Baptista came out of the goal and Miftah Astrajingga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Peixoto in the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Holmgren during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
