A collision led to Rapsodas Red Devils FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Paulo Centenales hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Ambrosio Pepillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Telesforo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Leonides Telesforo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Pepillo in the 17th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Bertassi in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Morris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonides Telesforo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Pepillo's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Vitoldas Bilota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Frank Morris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Frank Morris made a huge save. Claudio Echeverri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frank Morris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Pepillo to make the kick off. Montrelle Combarros kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute Narciso Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Morris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Justino Fontevilla got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cable a Tierra's Claudio Echeverri got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the match, Cable a Tierra's goalkeeper Leonides Telesforo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Pepillo. 67 minutes into the match, Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Echeverri came free, but Frank Morris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Rapsodas Red Devils FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Fontevilla to maneuver through the defense. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Aaron Amarita was substituted for Edgar Donato. Justino Fontevilla kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan made a precise shot to the right of Frank Morris. Rapsodas Red Devils FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Leonides Telesforo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fiz Miñano in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 77th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Frank Morris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Telesforo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aaron Amarita in the 78th minute. Leonides Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiz Miñano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Aaron Amarita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonides Telesforo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The corner led Rapsodas Red Devils FC's Mateo Cal to fire away a dangerous shot which Leonides Telesforo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rd minute Fiz Miñano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kutsi Dirsehan in the 94th minute of play forced Rapsodas Red Devils FC's goalkeeper Frank Morris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Cable a Tierra were the better team. Cable a Tierra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
