The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Oskitz in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Quiroga F.C.'s Amauri Veiga got a free kick in the 8th minute. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Paulino Tonio hit a great ball. Dadá Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Oskitz in the 11th minute of play. Eustaquio Jaizki hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Santos Oskitz scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dadá Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Eustaquio Jaizki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dadá Massa. Quiroga F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Jaizki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 21 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Constantino Avellaneda. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Constantino Avellaneda hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Santos Oskitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dadá Massa. Quiroga F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Oskitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Elivélton Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Santos Oskitz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa. Dadá Massa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes, Remigio Erramu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Quiroga F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Guedes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Dadá Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Tonio in the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Elivélton Cunha made the kick off in the second half. Benigno Abreu hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Amauri Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Germano. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Germano should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Eustaquio Jaizki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Massa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Oskitz got free with Dadá Massa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quiroga F.C.'s Dadá Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Quiroga F.C. from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amauri Veiga in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Amauri Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quiroga F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Edinho Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Elivélton Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Carlos Germano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Tonio took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Massa. Dadá Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. In the 92nd minute, Eustaquio Jaizki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Santos Oskitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dadá Massa. Santos Oskitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-8.
