Marco Fabelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Qian Zheng Yi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Augustyn in the 21st minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Qian Zheng Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qian Zheng Yi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Fabelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Fabelo in the 24th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Qian Zheng Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Herblay defense, Jerzy Augustyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Qian Zheng Yi. The Herblay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Qian Zheng Yi should have stopped the shot. Marco Fabelo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qian Zheng Yi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Fabelo in the 28th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Qian Zheng Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Marco Fabelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Zheng Yi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Qian Zheng Yi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Fabelo in the 34th minute of play. Fae Folgore's Jordano Bruno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antoni Peykov, made in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Fabelo in the 37th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Qian Zheng Yi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Herblay's Karim Bellarabi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anderson Trigo. Anderson Trigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerzy Augustyn was the one to do the kick off. Batiste Botella hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. If Marco Fabelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 52nd minute of the match, Marco Fabelo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Qian Zheng Yi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Qian Zheng Yi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Fabelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Marco Fabelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fae Folgore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Qian Zheng Yi was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Marco Fabelo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Fabelo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 62nd minute, Zula Paraszczuk fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Qian Zheng Yi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Fabelo. Qian Zheng Yi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Marco Fabelo sent off a good shot on target. Fae Folgore made a substitution. Dariusz Kluczyk replaced Aureliusz Bejger. Fae Folgore made a substitution. Wincenty Szarmach replaced Marco Fabelo. 73 minutes in the game Antoni Peykov did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Batiste Botella. Herblay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Wincenty Szarmach scored to the left of an out of position Qian Zheng Yi, making the score, 2-5. 84 minutes into the match, Wincenty Szarmach dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Qian Zheng Yi, 2-6. In the 87th minute, Wincenty Szarmach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qian Zheng Yi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-7. Wincenty Szarmach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qian Zheng Yi having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Karim Bellarabi notched a goal, 3-7, to the right of Fae Folgore's Anderson Trigo. Anderson Trigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Fae Folgore supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fae Folgore would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
