Chacarita Futsal were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after CA Portugália's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cecilio Michael took the corner. 23 minutes into the match, Chacarita Futsal's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Jesus Jardel came free, but Gerardo Elia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, CA Portugália's Mario Jesus Jardel made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Elia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Jesus Jardel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. CA Portugália's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Futsal the free kick. Fernandinho Barral hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Claudinei Tasso fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Portugália's protests and gave Claudinei Tasso a yellow card for diving instead. The long shot by Cecilio Michael in the 48th minute really tested Rogério Soberano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Rogério Soberano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Chacarita Futsal's Gerardo Elia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Tasso in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Tasso in the 72nd minute of play forced Chacarita Futsal's goalkeeper Gerardo Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CA Portugália's Claudinei Tasso, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for CA Portugália. CA Portugália made a substitution. Barry Gunn replaced Mario Jesus Jardel.
