Bitelon FC - SAF's Wilian Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Saad in the 2nd minute of play. In the 14th minute Dagoberto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Manjon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Ely kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Wilian Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Saad in the 20th minute of play. Bryan Reyna was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. Bitelon FC - SAF:s Wilian Motta showed great skill when he stopped Udo Nigula:s penalty. Wilian Motta came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by CE LAJEADENSE RS's Udo Nigula. But to his dismay, Udo Nigula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bitelon FC - SAF's Dagoberto Camargo got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Caetano Saad managed to get in a good position for a shot. CE LAJEADENSE RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Saad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dagoberto Camargo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Bitelon FC - SAF got a corner. CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dagoberto Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dagoberto Machado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Theobald Manjon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wilian Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Iigo in the 53rd minute of play. Udo Nigula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Motta having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Bitelon FC - SAF's Theobald Manjon threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dagoberto Machado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wilian Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Udo Nigula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Dagoberto Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theobald Manjon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celsinho Castro hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Leonel Martins was substituted for Jorge Pires. Bitelon FC - SAF's Adilson Meira was substituted for Waldemar Teles. In the 84th match minute, CE LAJEADENSE RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Castro to maneuver through the defense. Theobald Manjon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Dagoberto Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bitelon FC - SAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dagoberto Camargo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bitelon FC - SAF's Wilian Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Iigo in the 93rd minute of play. Wilian Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nigula in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CE LAJEADENSE RS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bitelon FC - SAF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
