After a rather tough play, Belgrano de Pibasog's Alfredo Reyna got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Baumar came free, but Constantino Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Manny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonio Phelipe went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Phelipe came free, but Constantino Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damaso Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Vélez Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Gaspard. Saverio Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Madeo in the 34th minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Perico in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog booed when Vélez Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Iratzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Phelipe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Constantino Manny. Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogelio Madeo made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vélez Juniors's goalkeeper Constantino Manny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andres Ignatius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Perico in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Manny saved Vélez Juniors from getting behind. Constantino Manny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saverio Baumar in the 74th minute. Fulgencio Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Efren's late challenge caught a Vélez Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Efren helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Piboon charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Piboon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfredo Piboon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Belgrano de Pibasog's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
