Todos al Fondo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justino Gotzon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Austra 04 VFC's Ivar Dalman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Hudson Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Gotzon in the 19th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Austra 04 VFC's zone, Justino Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hudson Gaúcho came out of the goal and Justino Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner led Todos al Fondo's Ivon Curiel to fire away a dangerous shot which Hudson Gaúcho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Gotzon in the 27th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Sócrates Silva came free, but Orlando Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Beila Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Austra 04 VFC made a substitution. Dráuzio Cerezo replaced Maxim Vasilitã. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington Pires to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Gotzon got free with Hudson Gaúcho in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, Austra 04 VFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper Hudson Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Gotzon. Orlando Rivera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sócrates Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Todos al Fondo's Frank Beckenbauer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cafu dos Santos in the 64 minute of the game. Justino Gotzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hudson Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Gotzon got free with Hudson Gaúcho in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sócrates Silva in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Mora came free, but Orlando Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Todos al Fondo made a substitution. Tiémoué Bakayoko replaced Jacobo Fidele. Austra 04 VFC's Leandro Vianna was substituted for Ivar Dalman. Todos al Fondo made a substitution. Ivon Curiel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hudson Gaúcho. Austra 04 VFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leandro Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
