Andy Cole might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Avellana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andy Cole ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 13th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerzy Zjawin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Avellana having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gasteiz Latorre in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egun Pais prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Hector Bazkoare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Egun Pais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Del Manfredi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Del Manfredi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Egun Pais saved Floresta Negra FC from getting behind. Del Manfredi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Egun Pais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andy Cole to make the kick off. Floresta Negra FC's attentive Hector Bazkoare managed to snatch the ball when Salvino Masses made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Avellana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Cole came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthon Öberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egun Pais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Jardel Lewandowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Justino Bastian in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Floresta Negra FC's Alexsandro Mandrak. Jeremy Avellana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jardel Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Lokon Pøhl came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthon Öberg in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egun Pais, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 89 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Lewandowski came free, but Jeremy Avellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's Carlos Fernando Azevedo got a free kick in the 94th minute.
