Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gasteiz Latorre in the 24th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Enrique Perico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcial Bakar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Del Manfredi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guter Tobia in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo made a substitution. Cao Kuan Wei replaced Marco Aguirre. Aves Negras's Clarence Seedorf was substituted for Humberto Urtsin. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg was substituted for Gasteiz Latorre. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guter Tobia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthon Öberg in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Bakar saved Aves Negras from getting behind. In the 67th minute Club Dep. Soc. Rodo were awarded a corner. Guto Pirani went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthon Öberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Aves Negras's Marcial Bakar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthon Öberg in the 73rd minute of play. After 76 minutes Aves Negras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guto Pirani who took care of the corner kick. Enrique Perico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Avellana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Artal in the 92nd minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Aves Negras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aves Negras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
