The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Åkesson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walter Wallander. That made the score 3-2 after 54 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Glen Conklin during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. New England Minas's Xiao Bang Kun was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. 57 minutes into the game, one of New England Minas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander got control of the ball when Tony Pacheco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Åkesson came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Walter Wallander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
