One of Ascacibar-Pérez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yupandú FC:s goal. Ascacibar-Pérez:s Ladislao Endira showed great skill when he stopped Tomas Cebo:s penalty. Ladislao Endira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Loren's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. A collision led to Ascacibar-Pérez getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Cristo Niguel hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Emiliano Loren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ascacibar-Pérez's Ladislao Endira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Niceto Joey fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ascacibar-Pérez's protests and gave Niceto Joey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Ascacibar-Pérez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Joey to maneuver through the defense. When Yupandú FC's Cirilo Iratzeder in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ascacibar-Pérez's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ascacibar-Pérez's Ladislao Endira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ascacibar-Pérez from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ascacibar-Pérez's Ladislao Endira got control of the ball when Severino Roano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Yupandú FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
