Tomas Cebo started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio RK75's zone, Emiliano Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Arce came out of the goal and Emiliano Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Ubarna kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Nunes in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luis Bastia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Luis Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fábio Monteiro in the 31st minute of play. Edgar Arce made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Tomas Cebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute Luís Fábio Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Paulo Nunes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio RK75's zone, Emiliano Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Cebo in the 55th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Edgar Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fábio Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Arce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Cebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Rencio. Edgar Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Cebo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Beat in the 77th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Edgar Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Nunes during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Grêmio RK75 getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Paulo Nunes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yupandú FC's Severino Roano got a free kick in the 86th minute. The long shot by Cido Barral in the 90th minute really tested Luis Bastia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Váldson Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio RK75's protests and gave Váldson Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes Grêmio RK75 got a freekick which was hit by Váldson Botelho. Marciano Rencio shot from long distance after 94 played minutes, a shot that Edgar Arce with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Yupandú FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
