Lucho Gonzales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a huge save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Caniglia to make the kick off. Elias Ortiz stood somewhat misplaced when Claudio Caniglia came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Waldir Pombal took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Peter-Michael Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The Janusze Futbolu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
