After a defensive mix-up in LA LUZ F.C.'s zone, Benigno Ricart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Reyes came out of the goal and Benigno Ricart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Emmanuel to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Erasto having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La Candela FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
