Bora Han Akbel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Rosen having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Dżuwentus's goalkeeper Beniamin Brodzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomasz Motowski. When Tomasz Motowski came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the AA Bełchatów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomasz Motowski couldn't finish the play. Leonard Rosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Bentkowski in the 16th minute of play. Ziemowit Bentkowski took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonard Rosen. Leonard Rosen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Beniamin Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Motowski in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomasz Motowski in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beniamin Brodzki saved Dżuwentus from getting behind. In the 25th minute of the match AA Bełchatów got a corner. Dżuwentus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 忠 杨浩云 ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Stanislaw Fink almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dżuwentus's Beniamin Brodzki did a great save. Ziemowit Bentkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislaw Fink in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beniamin Brodzki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Beniamin Brodzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Motowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 40 minutes into the game, AA Bełchatów's Tomasz Motowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beniamin Brodzki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ziemowit Bentkowski made the kick off in the second half. When Ludomil Frankowski fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AA Bełchatów's protests and gave Ludomil Frankowski a yellow card for diving instead. Beniamin Brodzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valto Virtala in the 80th minute of play. 忠 杨浩云 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beniamin Brodzki. Dżuwentus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dżuwentus's Manfred Kjellqvist got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 95 minutes of play, AA Bełchatów's Ryszard Przewozik made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beniamin Brodzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! AA Bełchatów's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
