Ciro Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmad Reza Asadi having to make a save. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Santos Campineiro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alfred Schrijns was slow to take the kick. During this time AKI CORINTHIANS's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AKI CORINTHIANS's corner Alfred Schrijns fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmad Reza Asadi quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute Anibal Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match, Anibal Enekoitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paredes Fortes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Onuralp Ergüden in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paredes Fortes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Onuralp Ergüden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Fortes having to interfere. Paredes Fortes made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Onuralp Ergüden sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Enekoitz in the 28th minute of play forced AKI CORINTHIANS's goalkeeper Paredes Fortes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Enekoitz in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Anibal Enekoitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AKI CORINTHIANS's Paredes Fortes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the match, AKI CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Enekoitz came free, but Paredes Fortes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Bålström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Onuralp Ergüden sped through AKI CORINTHIANS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paredes Fortes. Thanks to some nice moves Onuralp Ergüden could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Paredes Fortes however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albino Ibar was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Allan Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Santos Campineiro booed when AKI CORINTHIANS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Albuquerque in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paredes Fortes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Albuquerque in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paredes Fortes saved AKI CORINTHIANS from getting behind. When Albino Ibar came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the AKI CORINTHIANS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Ibar couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute Sidnei Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Brasil in the 73rd minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paredes Fortes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Baptista in the 79th minute of play. Sidney Albuquerque took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paredes Fortes. Paredes Fortes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Albuquerque in the 87th minute of the match. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Albino Ibar sent off a good shot on target. AKI CORINTHIANS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfred Schrijns in the 90th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Santos Campineiro's goalie and right to Oscar Simões. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Santos Campineiro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 94 minutes into the game, Geronimo Raebert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santos Campineiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AKI CORINTHIANS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Santos Campineiro's Geronimo Raebert got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santos Campineiro fans cheered their team off the field, for while AKI CORINTHIANS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
