Orlando Nogueira came out of the goal and Jago Štriker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albino Ibar. Albino Ibar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jago Štriker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
