When Arne Linberg fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PeGe FC's protests and gave Arne Linberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, PeGe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Linberg to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to PeGe FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Arne Palmquist hit a great ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Emil Chwalkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute Şevket Çağa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to PeGe FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Göran Allbom hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, PeGe FC's goalkeeper Eros André had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şevket Çağa. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when PeGe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Bernt Löfgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by PeGe FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emil Chwalkiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. In the 23rd minute, Şevket Çağa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lázaro Cuartio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. PeGe FC's Arne Linberg got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Şevket Çağa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eros André having to make a save. Şevket Çağa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eros André read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Şevket Çağa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eros André, 1-0. Eros André took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şevket Çağa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PeGe FC's goalie prevented a goal. Eros André made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Arne Linberg hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

51 minutes into the game, Remigio Erramu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PeGe FC the free kick. In the 51st minute, Remigio Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PeGe FC's Göran Allbom got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eros André came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa. But to his dismay, Şevket Çağa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Arne Linberg took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. Eros André showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şevket Çağa in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Göran Allbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Allbom hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, PeGe FC's Göran Allbom nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şevket Çağa in the 80th minute of play forced PeGe FC's goalkeeper Eros André to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Şevket Çağa made a precise shot to the right of Eros André. PeGe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Club Atlético Atlanta's Şevket Çağa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Folke Dahlkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Folke Dahlkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PeGe FC's Folke Dahlkvist got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Şevket Çağa made a precise shot to the right of Eros André. PeGe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. PeGe FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
