Josue Barro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Beattie in the 26th minute of play. David Abad was a little too slow when Fausto Beattie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauan Rosa got free with David Abad in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's David Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Beattie in the 36th minute of play. With an all-out effort, ORIZABA F.C.'s David Abad threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cauan Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Rosa in the 43rd minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper David Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günther Doty in the 46th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Josue Barro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Günther Doty was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alcino Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. With a left leg David Abad saved Chinese CJ Youth Academy from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Günther Doty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josue Barro came out of the goal and Günther Doty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Lucjan Falkiewicz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josue Barro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Josue Barro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Günther Doty in the 74th minute. Fausto Beattie hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when ORIZABA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Oliszewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ORIZABA F.C.'s Josue Barro got control of the ball when Günther Doty tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josue Barro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
