The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Cordarin got free with Isidro Arias in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 10 minutes, Leandro Cordarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Cordarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLATHU's goalkeeper Isidro Arias, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusebio Lehoi might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidro Arias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Lehoi ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomero Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Eusebio Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leandro Cordarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Isidro Arias made a huge save. Javier Sasoin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Gilberto Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Balvanera's Eusebio Lehoi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Sasoin to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Leandro Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Alejandro Beturian kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Leandro Cordarin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Truylos was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Cordarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Arias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Leandro Cordarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. Omar Fliz replaced Rene Restu. Deportivo Balvanera's Amado Handi was substituted for Eliseo Gartzi. Isidro Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Cordarin went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 81 minutes, Eusebio Lehoi made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. CLATHU's Isidro Arias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85thth minute of the game Eusebio Lehoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLATHU's Isidro Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Anastasio Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Cordarin in the 95th minute of the match. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
