Marcial Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Alagoano in the 63rd minute of the match. Marcial Dantae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Sarmento in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Valentin Enekoitz hit a great ball. Marcial Dantae stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Sarmento's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Alagoano came free, but Marcial Dantae reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Mauro Sarmento notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Palermo's Marcial Dantae. Marcial Dantae was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Júnior Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Dantae was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Castanheiro SC had played much better football throughout.
