With 8 minutes on the clock, Carmelo Mojica commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 9 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Mojica. In the 11th match minute, Tetes Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Bidari to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Johnny Reyes got control of the ball when Cosme Eguen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Fitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Lea Papá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tetes Titans the free kick. Baldomero Bidari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johnny Reyes came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomero Bidari slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. Hector Eguzki kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. David Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Junior Ochoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Atlético Lea Papá getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Charlie Ayala hit a great ball. Elías Marín hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Ciro Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Charlie Ayala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cosme Eguen made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Lea Papá's Junior Ochoa got a free kick in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Elías Marín had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Cucao. Tetes Titans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elías Marín was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 70th minute of the match Eude Padilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Cucao skillfully saved the ball. Johnny Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Hector Eguzki took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Reyes. Johnny Reyes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
