To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 19 minutes Academia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Narciso Noe who took care of the corner kick. The corner led KaoS Futbol Club's Amancio Semeno to fire away a dangerous shot which Walery Balkiewicz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Amancio Semeno got a throw-in 23 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Igor Lebas. Elmo Jaanovits blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pierluigi Buffon having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Lluis Companys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Balkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia FC's goalkeeper Walery Balkiewicz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
