A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Christian Liknes hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Zé Augusto Tinoco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Miljeteig showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marquinhos Diniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tord Sundnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 8 minutes, Wilian Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovens Democratas MZC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilian Antunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daustad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Emanuel Branco scored to the left of an out of position Christian Miljeteig, making the score, 1-0. Jovens Democratas MZC's Marquinhos Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Liknes in the 19th minute of play. Marquinhos Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Kvernmo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Marquinhos Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Liknes in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Daustad got a corner. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Liknes ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute Wilian Antunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Miljeteig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio de Sousa took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Miljeteig. Christian Miljeteig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tord Sundnes hit a great ball. Christian Miljeteig acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Célio de Sousa. Emanuel Branco succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 42nd playminute.

The wind increased when Christian Liknes made the kick off in the second half. Christian Miljeteig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Branco's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Emanuel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Miljeteig having to interfere. Jovens Democratas MZC's Aílton Sousa was substituted for Chico de Toledo. Jovens Democratas MZC's Valdemar Guerra was substituted for Sérgio Chaves. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Sundnes in the 70th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Marquinhos Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aílton Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Christian Miljeteig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Miljeteig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jovens Democratas MZC. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daustad's goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdemar Guerra in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Miljeteig saved Daustad from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilian Antunes in the 92nd minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Christian Miljeteig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, César Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jovens Democratas MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daustad the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aílton Sousa in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Miljeteig prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
