Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) AF CERRADO's Maicon Gonçalves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in AF CERRADO's zone, Mauro Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lino Araújo came out of the goal and Mauro Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Sarmento got free with Lino Araújo in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the game, Wiliam Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Wiliam Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Bezerra hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Doni Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Gonçalves in the 11th minute of the match. Lino Araújo was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Marcelo Eger capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcelo Eger really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 25th minute, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Severino Alcântara hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Mauro Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Lino Araújo. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 38 minutes into the game, Marcelo Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lino Araújo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doni Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Araújo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Sarmento to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Matías Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute of the match Ronaldo Pinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lino Araújo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, Mauro Sarmento made a precise shot to the right of Lino Araújo. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Marcelo Eger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Araújo having to make a save. Lino Araújo came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento. But to his dismay, Mauro Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. In the 62nd minute Mauro Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Mauro Sarmento notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of AF CERRADO's Lino Araújo. Lino Araújo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Mauro Sarmento put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lino Araújo. In the 74th minute, Marcelo Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauro Sarmento in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Araújo saved AF CERRADO from getting behind. Marcelo Eger struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Lino Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castanheiro SC. Lino Araújo came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Marcelo Eger. But to his dismay, Marcelo Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Marcelo Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Araújo having to interfere. AF CERRADO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
