In the 25th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Luiz Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elói de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Nascimento in the 40th minute of the match.
