In the 18th match minute, México Eterno MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Luz to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute Deen Castronovo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukács Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deen Castronovo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lukács Fabiański having to make a save. Aaron Spears charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The México Eterno MZC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukács Fabiański should have stopped the shot. When Deen Castronovo fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ogro F.C.'s protests and gave Deen Castronovo a yellow card for diving instead. Ogro F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
