After a defensive mix-up in MILLONARIOS FC's zone, Ubaldo Padro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Prior came out of the goal and Ubaldo Padro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svenn Matzke to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Zlatan BK's Ubaldo Padro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Prior narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. Kepa Barajo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ellis Schenck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Blomqvist in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Ubaldo Padro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILLONARIOS FC's Angelo Prior was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelo Prior was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Blomqvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ellis Schenck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svenn Matzke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Kepa Barajo got a free kick in the 39th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Zlatan BK's Ellis Schenck got control of the ball when Christoffer Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zlatan BK's Per Hägglund quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Theo Hernández, made in the 54th minute of the game. Christoffer Blomqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Ellis Schenck when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MILLONARIOS FC's Baladi Ribalta was substituted for Svenn Matzke. Zlatan BK made a substitution. Marcus Skytt replaced Ubaldo Padro. After 68 minutes MILLONARIOS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Hägglund who took care of the corner kick. Zlatan BK's Per Hägglund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Prior in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danell Mackiathan in the 77th minute of play. Verner Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when Zlatan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Holmstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Corredor in the 79th minute of play forced Zlatan BK's goalkeeper Ellis Schenck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Goitia to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Per Hägglund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Prior showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Danell Mackiathan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Prior having to interfere. In the 87th minute of the match, Teofilo Goitia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ellis Schenck was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 89th minute Karl-Oskar Kinnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the MILLONARIOS FC defense, Danell Mackiathan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Prior. The MILLONARIOS FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Prior should have stopped the shot. MILLONARIOS FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
