With a little luck, Jurassic Monsters SA's Zézinho Brito got control of the ball when Hermengildo Bertol tried to sneak it across the goal line. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Grandi in the 9th minute of play. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Grandi in the 10th minute of play. Hermengildo Bertol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Zézinho Brito made a huge save. In the 12th minute of the match, Hermengildo Bertol got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zézinho Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cristo Mitxaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Zézinho Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Jurassic Monsters SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Lopez to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Gustavo Salamon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Gino Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gino Leite the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ booed when Jurassic Monsters SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Faustino Lartaun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zézinho Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jurassic Monsters SA's Vinícius Grandi. But to his dismay, Vinícius Grandi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Grandi came free, but Gavino Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Cristo Mitxaut hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastião Salgado in the 27th minute of play forced ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Grandi in the 29th minute of the match. Robinho Arósio's late challenge caught a ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Brito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hermengildo Bertol took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Brito. Zézinho Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 41 minutes into the game, Vinícius Grandi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gavino Orlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zézinho Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Mitxaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Zézinho Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute Cristo Mitxaut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Grandi in the 77th minute. Gavino Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Grandi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th play minute Sérgio Grandi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gavino Orlan. 3-4. Faustino Lartaun kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Jurassic Monsters SA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jurassic Monsters SA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
