In the 15thth minute of the game Rigan Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Błękitni Koziegłowy's José Maria Buljubasich was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Jonsson in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute Albert Einstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Błękitni Koziegłowy got a corner. 1948 MKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolf Putin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ersin Uyguralp kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 51 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Torrey Molloy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Maria Buljubasich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Einstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Adolf Putin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ter Stegen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ter Stegen came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Błękitni Koziegłowy's Boleslaw Awizo. But to his dismay, Boleslaw Awizo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Awizo in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by 1948 MKS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolf Putin was slow to take the kick. During this time Błękitni Koziegłowy's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Adolf Putin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ter Stegen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Rudy Lukas got a free kick in the 77th minute. Adolf Putin might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ter Stegen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolf Putin ran back to his position shaking his head. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Putin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ersin Uyguralp during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
