In the 18th minute Andres Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Beti, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Imran Johnsson. After some careless play in the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara defense, Andres Pello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristan Franquis. The Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristan Franquis should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Moneda got free with Imran Johnsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Moneda in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Imran Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson got control of the ball when Bruno Moneda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Imran Johnsson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda. But to his dismay, Bruno Moneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Moneda was the one to do the kick off. If Wincent Kanczuszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Bruno Moneda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Moneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Andres Pello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pegaso FC's Juan Matos was substituted for Orlando Beti.
