Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) C.A.Esparta's attentive Ronaldo Queirós managed to snatch the ball when Dario Cordarell made a throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game. Natalio Etxekopar made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Granville's Arnaldo Peter. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Dario Cordarell with Chi-Chi Branca as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Evelio Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chi-Chi Branca in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Granville's Andrea Cellucci. Andrea Cellucci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrea Cellucci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Chi-Chi Branca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Salvadore. C.A.Esparta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chi-Chi Branca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Hendrik Ohmer came free, but Andrea Cellucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chi-Chi Branca might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Salvadore. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chi-Chi Branca ran back to his position shaking his head. When Samuel Tabb fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granville's protests and gave Samuel Tabb a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Tabb. Evelio Salvadore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chi-Chi Branca in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Granville made a substitution. Julio Cruz replaced Justino Frichoso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mauro Elazar to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Julio Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Evelio Salvadore. C.A.Esparta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Samuel Tabb hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. C.A.Esparta made a substitution. Oswaldo Junior replaced Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Samuel Tabb hit a great ball. Ruben Ioritz kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Granville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Cruz to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Granville defense, Oswaldo Junior kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrea Cellucci. The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrea Cellucci should have stopped the shot. Julio Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Evelio Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Elazar in the 88th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Julio Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.Esparta's Evelio Salvadore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oswaldo Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Andrea Cellucci made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
