U21 Angola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Moco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, U21 Faroe Islands's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Moco came free, but Jóhan Løkin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Hernani Moco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóhan Løkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jóhan Løkin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Moco in the 38th minute of play forced U21 Faroe Islands's goalkeeper Jóhan Løkin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute Fábio Montoia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jóhan Løkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Faroe Islands's zone, Ivó Amado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jóhan Løkin came out of the goal and Ivó Amado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jóhan Løkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Quilempan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute Jákup Norðbúð shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Custódio Teive saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Quilempan in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jóhan Løkin saved U21 Faroe Islands from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Faroe Islands had won after a very even match.
