The tension between the DINAMO and the AFC FUSION players grew even worse after the yellow card. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by DINAMO's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dalmacio Quirze was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. Dalmacio Quirze made a great header on AFC FUSION's corner, it was just that DINAMO's Eugen Jupân managed to reach the ball for a save. After 24 played minutes DINAMO got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Demian. AFC FUSION's Anastasio Berriotxoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Opincaru in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Silvestre Veronica got a free kick in the 28th minute. Anastasio Berriotxoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Albano Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Jupân saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Jupân made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Arias in the 33rd minute of play. When AFC FUSION's Albano Francho in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DINAMO's goalie prevented a goal. The DINAMO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugen Jupân should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Basarab Zburliş got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Nunez Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Opincaru to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Ramiro Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC FUSION's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DINAMO the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Ramiro Arnalt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Lucrețiu Nicodim came free, but Anastasio Berriotxoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Francho in the 66th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Eugen Jupân to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ramiro Arnalt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Ramiro Arnalt hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Dorin Agârbiceanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anastasio Berriotxoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. DINAMO's Eugen Jupân played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Francho in the 73rd minute of play. Albano Francho charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Francho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albano Francho hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Anacleto Ciceron kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Anastasio Berriotxoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Borcz's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Dumitru Opincaru struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Anastasio Berriotxoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DINAMO. After a defensive mix-up in AFC FUSION's zone, Dumitru Opincaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Berriotxoa came out of the goal and Dumitru Opincaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anastasio Berriotxoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Albano Francho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugen Jupân saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Opincaru in the 94th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Anastasio Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Basarab Zburliş hit a great ball. The AFC FUSION supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AFC FUSION would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
