A collision led to HollywooDogs getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Samuca Donatello hit a great ball. If Daniel Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Celsinho Couto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Severiano Santo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Valle in the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, HollywooDogs's goalkeeper Vânderson Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Medina. Daniel Quintal took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Santo. Severiano Santo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Evelio Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Vânderson Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Sidnei Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. HollywooDogs had won after a very even match.
